Tesla Model S Transformed into Stealthy Shooting Brake by Kelsonik

A rendering of the Tesla Model S has been transformed into a shooting brake, courtesy of kelsonik’s creative vision. The design takes the iconic vehicle and stretches it to its limits, adding a widebody kit and elevating the roof for a functional hatch. This unique interpretation sits somewhere between a grand tourer and a high-speed hauler.

The Tesla Model S has been discontinued by the manufacturer, but kelsonik saw an opportunity to breathe new life into the design. With the closure of production on the Model S and its sibling, the Model X, there was a small window left open for one final limited Signature Series before moving on to newer models. Chuicko seized this chance to reimagine the iconic vehicle.

The result is a sleek and menacing shooting brake that boasts an aggressive stance and wider roofline. The design preserves the original shape of the Tesla Model S but takes it further, with the elevated roof giving way to a squared-off back end and functional hatch. This transformation turns the car into something entirely new, blending elements from both grand tourers and high-speed haulers.

Up front, kelsonik’s vision is reminiscent of the newer Model Y, featuring two independent headlights flanking a continuous LED light strip that spans the entire width of the vehicle. The bumper is low and clean, with just enough detail to keep the face from looking plain. Enormous front wheel flares push the wheels outwards, giving the car a planted appearance even when stationary.

The Black concave Y-spoke wheels run deep into the flares, securing the wheels in place. Along the sides, the extra width is immediately apparent, with sizeable flares that suggest they are structural rather than purely aesthetic. A high beltline protects the glass area from looking stretched out, while a modest roof spoiler sits above the back window.

A second spoiler positioned on the hatch works in tandem to create a cohesive look. At the rear, a translucent full-width LED light bar runs down the tailgate, lit in a mellow crimson that stands out against the matte black paint. Beneath this lies an aggressive diffuser that caps off the edge of the lower paneling and connects the entire rear track.

The car’s finish is a single deep black color that absorbs light rather than reflecting it back out. There are no bright particles breaking up the surface, giving the impression of a silent and hefty vehicle with a finish that makes the extra width appear deliberate rather than forced.
