KT Unveils NPU LLM Station, A Fully On-Premise Sovereign AI Server for Korean Entities

South Korea’s KT has made a significant move in the field of artificial intelligence with the unveiling of its NPU LLM Station. This is an all-Korean sovereign stack that bundles Rebellions’ Korean-designed ATOM-MAX chip, KT’s Mi:dm language model, and an operations platform into one rack-mount appliance for on-premise AI. The system runs generative AI entirely inside a customer’s own network with no external cloud connectivity required.
