Google DeepMind Selects First Cohort for Robotics Accelerator

Google's artificial intelligence subsidiary, DeepMind, has announced its inaugural cohort of startups for a new robotics accelerator program. The initiative will provide three months of mentorship and technical support to the selected companies, along with access to Google's AI stack and Gemini robotics models.

The chosen 15 early-stage startups are based across Europe and have been given this opportunity to collaborate with DeepMind experts. This partnership aims to accelerate innovation in the field of robotics by leveraging the strengths of both parties.

This development comes as Neura Robotics, another European startup, has secured $1.4 billion in backing from prominent investors such as Amazon, Nvidia, and Qualcomm. The company claims it now boasts an order book exceeding $1 billion.
