Meta AI Launches 'Imagine Me' Tool for Personalized Images

·

Meta AI has released a new feature called Imagine Me, which lets users create custom AI-generated images based on their photos and instructions. To use it, you simply type in what you want to see - like ‘Imagine me as a superhero’ or ‘Picture me in ancient Egypt.’ The AI then uses this information to generate an image.

The process of making these personalized images is easy: just type your command into the chat interface. Meta says its system can edit photos quickly and easily, adding or removing objects with no fuss. It’s all part of a growing list of features that let users experiment with different looks and styles.

A new AI model called Llama 405B powers this feature, giving it a solid foundation for producing high-quality images. But here’s the fun bit: you can also use more playful language to get creative results - like ‘Change me into a royal image.’ The possibilities are endless, and users love being able to try out new ideas.

The Imagine Me tool is part of an ongoing effort by Meta AI to make creativity with AI accessible and enjoyable. One way they’re doing this is by letting people generate silly images on the fly - think 3D stickers or cartoon versions of themselves. It’s a great way for users to experiment without needing any special skills.

This feature is just one part of an update that includes more languages supported and availability in 22 countries worldwide, including Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, and Cameroon. Users can now access these features from multiple places around the globe.

Looking ahead, Meta plans to keep updating its AI technology every two weeks with new tools and capabilities. Next month will bring an ‘Edit with AI’ button that lets users fine-tune their photos even further - a clear sign of how the company is committed to continually improving its service.
