RevRag AI Secures $2.5 Million Seed Funding for US Expansion
Enterprise startup RevRag AI has secured a significant seed funding round of $2.5 million, led by Accion Ventures, with participation from Cedar Hill Capital and Wyser. The investment will enable the company to accelerate product development, expand its enterprise deployments, and enter the lucrative US market.
The latest funding follows a pre-seed round of $600,000 in August 2024, which saw Powerhouse Ventures leading the charge alongside angel investors, including CRED founder Kunal Shah. This new injection of capital will help RevRag AI build on its existing momentum and further establish itself as a key player in the fintech sector.
Founded by Ashutosh Prakash Singh, Neeraj Gupta, and Pankaj Gupta, RevRag AI specializes in developing multilingual, autonomous AI agents designed to streamline customer-facing processes for banks, lenders, fintech companies, and insurance providers. These AI-powered virtual relationship managers aim to simplify complex digital services, reduce customer drop-offs, and enhance overall user experience.
The startup’s technology is centered around addressing the challenges of digital customer onboarding, where repeated data entry, multiple verification steps, and extensive documentation can lead to delayed transactions and frustrated customers. RevRag AI’s AI agents are designed to operate within financial institutions’ applications, providing real-time assistance in multiple languages and helping customers understand financial products.
According to co-founder and CEO Ashutosh Singh, a good relationship manager knows the customer, tells them what to do next, and handles tasks on their behalf. RevRag AI’s platform can help financial institutions generate revenue while operating at up to 70% lower cost than traditional customer engagement channels. The company currently works with over 45 financial institutions, including PhonePe, Razorpay, Bajaj Finance, Motilal Oswal, IIFL, Aditya Birla Capital, DCB Bank, and Moneyview.
RevRag AI is targeting the US financial services market, where it sees opportunities to provide AI-powered automation to businesses operating across insurance, lending, and credit cards. Alongside its international expansion, the startup plans to invest in developing and fine-tuning its own multimodal small language models (SLMs), which can process different types of information, including text and images. This move will enable RevRag AI to bring more of the underlying technology in-house and reduce reliance on third-party proprietary AI models.
The acquisition of GenStaq.ai, a company specializing in modular large language model operations (LLMOps) and workflow orchestration, in September 2025 has also strengthened RevRag AI’s control over its technology infrastructure. The startup intends to remain focused on customer-facing automation within financial services rather than expanding into unrelated sectors. Its growth plans are ambitious, with a target of achieving $50 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) by FY28.
The funding comes as financial institutions increasingly explore AI to automate customer interactions, improve operational efficiency, and simplify digital services. The global AI in fintech market is estimated to reach $45.53 billion in 2026 and is projected to grow to $241.67 billion by 2034, representing a compound annual growth rate of 23.20% during the forecast period.
